I live in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA. My passion for more than 23 years has been underwater photography. I am a PADI Assistant Scuba Instructor and have travelled the world diving and taking underwater photos. From the moment I first descended underwater I became infatuated with the beauty of the underwater world. I started taking underwater photos to bring this beauty to others. More recently, I have branched out into other areas of nature photography. But I take pictures for the same reason and because I enjoy it.

What I enjoy is the personal encounters with marine creatures and other wildlife. I strive for "eye contact" the same way that a portrait photographer would focus on a subject.
